Trigger an alarm in-app or press on the SOS button or your smartwatch to notify your chosen contacts, your Spher. More ways to trigger the alarm will be released soon!
Smartwatch Auto-Alert
If your smartwatch detects a fall or a sudden heart-rate spike, Spher can trigger an alarm and notify your Spher automatically.
Safety Reports on the Map
Report unsafe locations (dark areas, incidents, risky routes) and help other women see what's happening before they go.

When the alarm has been triggered, your phone will record your surrounding and save it to your device and on the cloud.

How do I set up my Spher account?
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your email and phone number.
Is Spher free to use?
Yes. The core safety and community features are available to everyone at no cost. Simply download the app and start creating a safer world. Spher+ comes with premium features and you decide if you want to subscribe to it!
What is a “Guardian”?
Guardians are part of your Spher, which are trusted people from your contacts who receive notifications if you trigger an alert or need help. You pick your own guardians and create your own Spher.
How does location sharing work?
You can choose to share your live location with a single contact or with all of your trusted contacts, your Spher. This lets loved ones track your journey and know when you arrive safely.
You can only locate someone who has chosen you as their Spher and decided to share their location.
What happens when I trigger the alarm?
When you trigger Spher's alarm, the app records audio of your surroundings and sends it along with your live location to your chosen contacts via email.
Can my smartwatch trigger an alarm?
Yes. Spher's optional smartwatch integration monitors motion and heart-rate data and will automatically trigger an alert to your Spher if it detects a fall or sudden spike.
We're using Apple Watch fall detection and heart monitoring.
Can I create and moderate my own community?
Absolutely. You can start a private group (your own Spher), invite trusted members and manage membership. Within your group you can start chats and share locations directly, and as the moderator you control who joins and what is shared to keep the space safe.
How do I start an in‑app chat?
Go to the “Chat” tab and start a conversation with someone you trust.
